MÉLOVIN - producer, Ukrainian singer, composer, musician, and songwriter. In 2019, the artist won the "Discovery of the Year" nomination at the M1 Music Awards. MÉLOVIN gained popularity after winning the vocal talent show X-Factor 6. This artist is distinguished from others not only by his musical style, but also by the images he uses not only on stage, but also in life. A dark lens in one eye, unusual clothes and hairstyles.
How MÉLOVIN was formed
The future artist grew up in the colorful Ukrainian city of Odesa, and his creativity was evident from an early age. At school, he participated in various productions, was directly involved in organizing many of them, and was also sent to dance classes. He was interested in chemistry, so his mother Valentyna and father Mykola thought that the boy would grow up to be a chemist, and he still loves chemistry and even collected various flasks, balls and the like. Kostyantyn studied at a music school, but before graduating, he changed his major to theater. He graduated from the theater school and appreciates the experience he gained there.
The first rays of glory
There is a lot that connects the artist with the Ukrainian version of the X Factor show, not counting his winning season. After all, Kostya came to the auditions three times, but did not pass the television casting. But in 2015, the guy tried out for the show again, and it became a turning point not only in his music career but also in his life in general. He gets to the stage of auditions in front of the judges in the sixth season of The X Factor, and after performing the song "Without a Fight" he goes directly to the training camp. Each performance of the singer on this show was different, each time he impressed the audience with new images and different ways of singing, very quickly gaining great support from the public, the artist confidently moved to the Super Final and on Day X his name was announced as the winner. After a resounding and confident victory, the artist went on a concert tour of Ukraine
And in 2017, MÉLOVIN presented its debut album "Face to Face". The album was created by the London-based composer Ashley Hicklin, whose team worked with Amy Winehouse, Hurts, Lana Del Rey, Leona Lewis, and DJ Tiesto. In addition to the title track, the album includes the songs: "Hooligan"; "Wonder"; "Unbroken"; "Play This Life". In the same year, the artist participated in the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. The audience and the jury let the singer through to the final, he did not win the national selection, but the story with Eurovision did not end there.
Eurovision and the second album
In 2018, MÉLOVIN won the Eurovision National Selection and represented Ukraine at the song contest in Portugal. The artist took 17th place, having enlisted the support of the world-famous designer Jean Paul Gaultier. And although MÉLOVIN's place in the contest itself was not the highest, the viewers' vote determined his 7th place, the only question was with the judging committee, which put the artist on the 26th place. It was MÉLOVIN's performance that was included in the TOP of the best Eurovision performances.
In 2018 and 2019, MÉLOVIN was included in the ranking of the most beautiful people in the world. He is the only Ukrainian artist to be recognized in this nomination according to the world edition of TC Candler. The list is also headed by such celebrities as: Aaron Taylor Johnson, Zac Efron, Chris Evans, Robert Pattinson, Chris Pine, Kit Harington, Alexander Skarsgård and others.
In 2019, MÉLOVIN released the album "OCTOPUS", which immediately took the top positions on the iTunes charts during the first hour of its release. The musical work has 8 tracks, including Ukrainian-language tracks.
The British music critics of The Yorkshire Time named OCTOPUS among the best albums of 2019. MÉLOVIN is the only Ukrainian artist to be included in the rating of this British publication.
At the beginning of 2020, the artist went on a big self-titled tour in support of the album, with concerts in Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Poltava, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi, Khmelnytskyi, Poltava, Dnipro, his native Odesa and other cities of Ukraine.
In 2020, the singer presented the song "Oh, No!" in the First Semi-Final of the National Selection for Eurovision.

The singer has recently started working on his third studio album "Mroom 13"
