Life story

The unusual and extremely attractive singer Iryna Fedyshyn, thanks to her talent and desire to give happiness to her fans, has deservedly become the golden voice of her homeland, Ukraine. Millions of loving listeners are waiting for her in their cities to plunge into the incredible atmosphere of her emotional songs, and then remember this event with delight for a long time. The artist tries to fulfill the dreams of every fan, and it seems that she is doing a good job, because only in January 2022 the singer visited 18 Ukrainian cities with concerts!

Ira was born in Lviv in the family of a musician. The girl fell in love with her city with its memorable places and charming streets so much that she still does not even allow herself to think about moving away from it and lives in two cities - Lviv and Kyiv. From an early age, she was enveloped in a love of music, particularly singing, and starting at the age of 3, no family celebration was complete without the little celebrity. The girl was attracted to creative activity like a magnet, so in kindergarten she tried herself as a music concert host.

At school, she continued to develop in this direction and made everyone realize that it was impossible to find a better writer. Ira successfully organized all kinds of festivals and concerts, actively performed in them, and wrote wonderful songs. Her father did not support his daughter's hobby, even though he had lived with music throughout his life. He believed that such a profession would be more like a hobby than a profession, so he tried in every way distract Iryna with chess, so maybe she would become a brilliant chess player. At school, Iryna became best friends with mathematics, she could easily solve equations and problems, so without hesitation, she went and enrolled in a chess club on her father's advice. The teacher had no doubt that the girl's future would be inextricably linked to winning games, as he could see her talent almost immediately.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, Ira quickly got bored with these constant, identical activities, because her heart was more and more eager to create, and it was becoming increasingly difficult to sit still. Long persuasions worked on her parents, and they allowed their daughter to leave the chess club. That's when the future artist and extraordinary singer got her first musical instrument - a synthesizer. When the girl was 13 years old, she took three classes of music school as an external student (with the help of classes at home and the ability to improvise) and immediately got into the fourth to take more advanced classes in the required specialty. During this period, her success in songwriting became so impressive that she could get as close as possible to her dream of performing on the big stage.

She received her higher education in economics at Lviv National University, as her father insisted on serious studies. He could not recognize music as a good occupation to secure future. However, even at the institute, Iryna did not forget about her meaning of life, took stage skills and, of course, vocal lessons.

First steps to the big stage

The first songs of the young artist Iryna Fedyshyn appeared at music school. For example, the first composition performed for the people was "Перед образом Христа," which she also composed herself. After its performance, the audience felt a sense of magic, and a new star appeared on the Ukrainian stage. Then all kinds of festivals and competitions captivated the singer for a while. And already in 2005, at the Eurovision Song Contest, Iryna had the opportunity to perform in the semifinals. She will return to participate in this song contest, but as a judge in 2022.

Sharp start

Until 2006, the singer was a member of the “Ліра” creative association, but after feeling stronger, she decided that a solo career was much more appealing. Thanks to the stage skills she acquired during her higher education, the artist, without the help of sponsors, wins people's attention with her chic outfits and improvisation. A bright show, non-standard highlights of each performance and sincere feelings are what allowed the dreamy Iryna to wake up one day as the famous Iryna Fedyshyn. A sharp start was given to the fans by two albums released in 2007. The CDs sold like hot cakes, and as a result, more than 200 thousand copies were sold.

The singer creates masterpieces that combine popular music with some notes of folklore. This is rarely seen on stage, it is an exceptional feature of the beautiful Iryna. Perhaps, this is the reason why the singer is called the Prima Donna of Galicia. The girl is not shy about performing even at small venues, it is important for her to be closer to the people, which does not leave her fans indifferent. Nowadays, the artist is gladly accepted abroad. Italy, Poland, Canada - this is not the final list of countries where the celebrity is known and loved.  

For the strength of the Motherland

Iryna Fedyshyn is one of the most active Ukrainian artists supporting Ukraine and its defenders. Since 2014, Iryna has been visiting Ukrainian defenders on the front line, helping and supporting them. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the singer began to work even harder to defeat the Russian invaders. During 2022 and 2023, she visited a huge number of cities around the world with charity concerts, the proceeds from which go to provide the Ukrainian armed forces with the necessary equipment, cars, equipment, etc.
