The emergence of the image of Verka Serdiuchka:

Verka Serdiuchka is a female character who was invented and created in 1991, and the proto-image of Verka appeared in 1989 in the Poltava theater studio "Grotesque", the prototype was Andriy's school love, Anna Serdiuk, and the name Vera came from the school cleaner.

Verka's stage career:

Verka first appeared on stage in 1991, at the Poltava Drama Theater, and her first performance in front of a large audience took place two years later at the Poltava Humorina competition, when Verka Serdyuchka fell in love with both the audience and the judges.

Three years after the image was invented, in 1994, Verka Serdyuchka tasted fame thanks to television, and soon after, in 1997, the whole country learned about her, Verka Serdyuchka became the host of the SV-show on 1+1 TV channel. At the same time, Verka's first song "Просто Вєра" was released, and on December 13, she gave a concert "Verka Serdyuchka's Christmas Meetings" in Kyiv.

His first solo mini-album, “Я рождена для любви”, was released in 1998, followed by his first music videos: "Контролер" and "По чуть-чуть".

In 1999, Verka Serdyuchka's 10 premiere shows "Titanic or Floating Country" took place, and after this event, Serdyuchka began touring, visiting the CIS countries with concerts. Verka Serdyuchka's next big appearance was a concert with the program "I am the Revolution" at the Lesya Ukrainka National Academic Theater of Russian Drama. Verka Serdyuchka's first full-fledged studio album "Ха-ра-шо!" was released in 2003 and received a diamond status, and the song "Все будет харашо!" became a super hit. A year after that, Verka's "mother," actress Inna Bilokon, began to appear with her.

In 2007, thanks to her 2nd place in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Dancing Lasha Tumbai", Verka Serdyuchka became known in the European Union, and because of the lyrics of the song, Danylko was forced to stop performing in Russia, but the image of Verka Serdyuchka became so popular that numerous lookalikes and impersonators continue to perform in Russia and the CIS. The presence of such a large number of "followers" irritated Andriy Danylko considerably, and he spoke out sharply on this topic.

In 2008-2009, the Verka Serdyuchka Show was broadcast on the Ukraine TV channel. In 2010, the artist visited Israel and Australia, and in the winter of 2011, she gave concerts in Spain and the Czech Republic.

Since 2015, Andriy Danylko's stage image has been appearing in films, in particular in the American movie “Spy”, in which she performed the Eurovision song Dancing Lasha Tumbai, which also became the soundtrack to the movie. The legendary song has been featured in foreign and domestic films many times.

In 2021, the anniversary episodes of the travel show "Orel i reshka" were filmed and released, one of which featured Verka Serdyuchka, she hosted the show together with Vera Brezhneva, and they visited Barcelona. In the same year, Verka Serdyuchka gave a solo concert at the Atlas Weekend 2021 festival. In the summer, Verka starred in a commercial for the ATB supermarket, and on August 24, on the Independence Day of Ukraine, the artist took part in a concert on the occasion of the 30th anniversary, the holiday took place at the Olympic Stadium in Kyiv.

In 2023, when Eurovision was organized jointly by the UK and Ukraine, Verka Serdyuchka performed live with the song "Dancing Lasha Tumbai" in Liverpool.
